This class in the newest in our Cook, Eat & Be Well series. Join our Guest Chef, Ellexis Boyle for this class, learning how to create creamy, satisfying replacements for the dairy things you love(d).
Many people agree that the last barrier to a fully plant-based diet is giving up the dairy. Whether you're transitioning to a vegan diet, have a diary intolerance or allergy or want to learn more about creating great non-dairy products at home this class will equip you with the tools. Although many of these produts are now available commercially, they often utilize high amounts of processed fats,sugars, and stabilizers, not to mention loads of packaging. Guest chef Ellexis Boyle will show you how to use non-dairy, whole-food and plant-based ingredients to create recipes such as:
nut-milks
butter
fermented (Kefir) coconut yogurt
sour cream
parmesan
feta
creamy pasta sauce

You will learn how to handle plant-based ingredients for best nutrition, learn new recipes and gain hands on experience making undairy products and snacks. The class will culminate in a meal made from our products. This class is 100% plant based/vegan and gluten free.
This class pairs especially well with Ellexis' other classes: Un-Junk your Kitchen and Nut-Based Cheese-Making
