Founded in 2004, Vancouver Story Slam is the longest-running live storytelling event of its kind in Canada - and the second-longest-running in the world! Throughout the year, over 100 people sign up to share their original writing live onstage. Audience members vote for their favourite stories; top storytellers are invited to participate in this, the annual championship. Almost $3,000 in cash prizes are awarded annually.

As this is the finale of a year-long competition, the storytellers will be announced closer to the show date.
