She has cooked on a sailboat travelling the BC coast, a fishing lodge in Haida Gwaii, and a backcountry lodge in the mountains of Yoho National Park. Chef Tasha has been cooking ever since she can remember, and professionally for the last 18 years. She is passionate about local ingredients, and has been an avid forager since she was a child. She sees food as fundamental to building and sustaining connection to community, and is currently a chef educator for Growing Chefs, teaching youth food literacy and culinary skills.Andrea Terpenkas is an experienced Food and Beverage Educator and Consultant, and proprietor of Good-Libations. She has 16+ years of teaching under her belt, is a certified Beer and Wine expert holding: a WSET (Wine, Spirits, Education Trust) level 3 in Wine, Level 2 in beer, and is in the process of completing The Beer Judge Certification Program.
