# Event Details - **Event Name**: STAINLESS // SYRINX // LA CHINGA. November 21, 2025 @ Astoria Pub - **Event Start and End Date**: Fri, 21 Nov, 2025 at 07:00 pm – Fri, 21 Nov, 2025 at 11:00 pm - **Event Description**: Ocula Records and The Invisible Orange present: STAINLESS with SYRINX (album release show) and LA CHINGA - STAINLESS - Officially formed in Portland, Oregon, in 2022, rising from the heart of the Pacific Northwest underground. Past and present members have powered bands such as Black Breath, Long Knife, Lebenden Toten, Halt, Bellicose Minds, Nightfell, Malikili, and Ripper. Their first release — the “Snakebite” / “Too Hot to Steal” single — arrived as a self-released vinyl statement of intent. Now the band returns with the mini-album Nocturnal Racer, featuring “Shot for Shot,” “Believer,” and “The Evil Lies.” Recorded at Red Lantern Studio (Portland, OR) by Evan Mersky, produced by Jamie Byrum, and mastered by Magnus Lindberg in Stockholm, the record captures STAINLESS at full throttle. The sessions featured Larissa Cavacece (vocals), Mira Sonnleitner (bass), Joe Sugar (drums), and Jamie Byrum (guitar, vocals) — with Terrica Catwood (Time Rift) now joining on drums. “I’d describe us as hard rock or heavy rock,” says Byrum. “There are plenty of metal elements in our sound, but calling us a pure heavy metal band would be misleading. Nocturnal Racer carries a more metallic edge than our blues-based first single.” Fueled by adrenaline and grit, STAINLESS is already working on material for their full-length debut — so keep your engine running.. https://www.instagram.com/stainlesspdx https://stainlesspdx.bandcamp.com/ - SYRINX - Album Release Show From the minds behind Spell and Traveler comes SYRINX — a progressive rock and metal collective from Canada and the U.S. that transcends time, genre, and convention. Formed in 2016, SYRINX has steadily carved out a sound transcends space and time — merging the storytelling of classic prog with the visceral edge of heavy metal. Their new album, Time Out of Place (Ocula Records), released September 9th, is a modern-day rock opera — a journey through chaos, clarity, and awakening. Across its sweeping movements, SYRINX explores the dissonance between the mortal and the divine, the machine and the spirit. Glistening ethereal textures meet crushing, deliberate heaviness; every passage pulls listeners deeper into a world where reason fractures and revelation emerges. Recorded entirely on analog gear, Time Out of Place was built by hand — no computers, no A.I., no shortcuts. The album captures the raw electricity of live performance, channeling human imperfection into sonic transcendence. It’s cerebral, emotional, and defiantly real — the sound of musicians in full command of their craft, reaching for something timeless. Now, SYRINX brings this vision to life on stage. Experience Time Out of Place in its entirety — a full-scale performance where light, sound, and spirit collide. Witness the descent and awakening — live. https://priestsyrinx.bandcamp.com/album/time-out-of-place https://www.instagram.com/syrinxband https://www.facebook.com/SyrinxAstralBand/ -LA CHINGA- Blazing in from Vancouver since 2012, La Chinga is a psych/hard-rock force that channels the raw power of the ’70s and nods to Sabbath, Zeppelin, MC5 and beyond. https://www.instagram.com/lachingaband/ https://www.facebook.com/lachingaband/ https://lachinga.bandcamp.com/ ***Ages 19 and over*** If you are looking for the CHILLIWACK event, it is here: https://www.facebook.com/events/808904142035368/ - **Event URL**: https://allevents.in/vancouver/stainless-syrinx-la-chinga-november-21-2025-astoria-pub/200029004705812 - **Event Categories**: music, entertainment, storytelling - **Interested Audience**: - total_interested_count: 156 ## Ticket Details ## Event venue details - **city**: Vancouver - **state**: BC - **country**: Canada - **location**: 769 E Hastings St, Vancouver, BC V6A 1R3, Canada - **lat**: 49.28141 - **long**: -123.08799 - **full address**: 769 E Hastings St, Vancouver, BC V6A 1R3, Canada ## Event gallery - **Alt text**: STAINLESS // SYRINX // LA CHINGA.
