Join Massy Arts, Misha Solomon, Devon Rae, Mikka Jacobsen and Shelley Stoehr June 18th from 6-8pm for the Launch of PRISM International Issue 62.2!

Venue & Accessibility

The event will be hosted at the Massy Arts Gallery, at 23 East Pender Street in Chinatown, Vancouver. We are located in the former MING WO building.

About Misha Solomon: Misha Solomon is a homosexual poet in and of Tiohtià:ke/Montréal. He is the author of two chapbooks, FLORALS (above/ground press, 2020) and Full Sentences (Turret House Press, 2022), and his work has recently appeared or is forthcoming in Best Canadian Poetry 2024, The Antigonish Review, Augur, The Fiddlehead, Frozen Sea, Grain, The Malahat Review, PRISM international, Riddle Fence, and & Change.Instagram: @mishasolomon

About Devon Rae: Devon Rae is a queer writer from Montreal, QC who now lives in Vancouver, BC. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Arc Poetry Magazine, Canthius, SAD Magazine, Room, PRISM International, and elsewhere. Her poetry chapbook, Thirteen Conversations with My Body, is forthcoming in 2024 with Anstruther Press.

About Mikka Jacobsen: Mikka Jacobsen is the author of the essay collection Modern Fables, which won the 2023 Alberta Book Publishing Award for Non-Fiction, and the story collection Good Victory, forthcoming with Freehand Books. About Shelley Stoehr: Shelley Stoehr teaches writing at Southern Connecticut State University and is the winner of a 2023 de Groot Foundation Writer of Note grant. Shelley has received awards from The North American Review, New Millenium Sunshots, Writer's Digest, WOW: Women on Writing, and the ALA.
