Born in Singapore and raised in the UK, she grew up surrounded by crafts and a deep appreciation for the natural world. After working in the film industry as a prop maker, she moved to Vancouver with two suitcases and a watercolour palette gifted by her father — and fell in love with both the city and the medium. Today, Tara balances prop making with her watercolour practice, creating artwork that evokes wonder and serenity.
