As constituency assistant to former Vancouver Fairview NDP MLA George Heyman, Jarrett worked on the front line to help people get the support and services they needed. He saw their issues, heard their concerns and took action. (Jarrett is also an experienced stand-up comedian with a great sense of humour, a vital asset for someone in politics.)Jarrett is seeking a OneCity nomination for Vancouver City Council, and I’m glad he is. I’m convinced that OneCity, which is conducting open nominations for mayor, council, school board and park board, is best positioned to defeat Ken Sim and ABC, and return Vancouver to progressive leadership.
