Maharishi Yoga Asana Workshop March 3-4

Maharishi Yoga Asana Course Workshop in Vancouver, Saturday March 3- Sunday March 4th

Learn Your Own Home Yoga Practice!

Hosted by Deborah Marcia Rubin, Certified TM Instructor, Certified Yoga Instructor and Certified Maharishi Yoga Asana Instructior

Everyone is Welcome. No Prior Yoga Experience is Necessary!

You are warmly invited to join us for a 12-hour yoga workshop presented by Deborah Marcia Rubin, . Whether you're a beginner or an advanced yoga practitioner, you're going to benefit from this fun and interactive yoga workshop.

Because it is 'consciousness based', it will bring your understanding of yoga to an entirely new level.

You'll experience the difference between Maharishi Yoga and other forms of yoga. Mainly because you learn how to experience the transcendental value of bliss and silence during each posture.

You will leave the workshop with a greater enjoyment and appreciation of the value of a regular home yoga practice.

Deborah will provide clarity on how to do postures correctly according to your body type. In addition, she will examine how the role of your attention - or 'consciousness' - enhances your body and changes your brain.

If you have any issues such as injuries, high blood pressure or mobility, Deborah will adjust your postures so that you can continue to practice yoga with ease, comfort, confidence and success.

This is the perfect opportunity to deepen your understanding and experience based on the principles of the latest Maharishi Yoga Asana programme. Maharishi Yoga Asanas were specially selected to enhance your meditation practice. They are designed to enliven mind-body coordination to support pure awareness, the true state of Yoga.

This brilliant workshop addresses these points and lays the foundation for a safe, effective, and spiritually powerful Yoga Asana program that works best for you!

"I've been doing asanas for 35 years as part of my TM program, and I can say that the workshop really brought the practice of doing Asanas to a whole new level and transformed my experience during TM." Daniel Gaudet, Meditator

"I thoroughly enjoyed Deborah’s asana training. Even though I have been regularly practicing Maharishi’s yoga asanas for over 40 years I found the training very helpful both for my own practice and for me as a TM instructor training others.

Deborah’s session was lively, great fun, and very clear. She gave each person the individual attention they needed to refine their Yoga Asana, practice and to make use of adaptations for certain asanas that posed some challenges. The adaptations she demonstrated made certain asanas easier and safer to perform, especially for those not used to regular practice." Helen Darisse, Certified TM Instructor

We will also explore:

What is Yoga?
The Goal of Asana
The Role of Attention
The principle of 'Sukh' or ease
Benefits of each pose
The Role of Breath

With over 40 years experience as a certified yoga teacher, Deborah has maintained a dedicated asana practice throughout her life. Her personal practice embodies the principles of Maharishi Yoga Asana. Deborah will share her extensive knowledge of the principles of Maharishi Yoga, the nuance of each pose and its importance. Deborah will lead group meditations on both Saturday and Sunday.

A Message From Deborah:

"I was delighted to take the Maharishi Yoga Asana class with Deborah. Aside from being an absolutely patient and wonderful teacher, Deborah is also a master of the philosophy of yoga and the significance of Asanas, in the most profound sense. Her instruction on each posture and transitioning from posture to posture was perfection, guiding the body and mind into a gentle state of integration and wholeness. Thanks so much for the experience. I look forward to repeating it with you again." James Hea, Software developer
