The door is wide enough to accommodate a standardized wheelchair and electric wheelchair. Our main lobby, bar and theatre are wheelchair accessible. Our stage is not as it is about 4 inches off the ground.Unfortunately, as of right now our bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible. The closest wheelchair accessible washroom is at the Mount Pleasant Community Centre, across the street from the theatre. Their hours of operations are Monday-Friday, 6 am-10 pm, Saturday, 8 am-6 pm, and Sunday, 9 am to 6 pm.Age Restriction 16+At Tightrope Theatre, our shows are 16+ due to the improvised nature of our work which can often include adult themes, language, and situations.Even if a child (or their parents) are comfortable with them experiencing adult content, their presence can impact the experience for the rest of the audience. Many guests may feel distracted, adjusting their own comfort levels or filtering their reactions based on the presence of a minor.
