Live Music! MIGHTY KOAN

Influenced by bands like The Knack and Blondie, as well as cable TV music shows, he was captivated by the era’s energy and originality. Transitioning from drumming in high school bands to songwriting, Koan explored audio production, releasing albums under the clever but hard to spell moniker ‘Nothingilistic’. Live performance became his focus after a promoter offered him a gig, drawing inspiration from performers like Chuck Berry. His music spans reggae, pop, rock, ska, and new wave, characterized by kinetic energy and diverse influences.
