Commissioned by the City of Vancouver Public Art Program the project is a series of 8 performance events that introduces “sipa” a precolonial game played in the Philippines. “laro na tayo – let's play” explores the Filipino-Canadian experience of migration and post-colonialism through the didactics of a childhood game.
