Your workshop will be held in the conference room located outside of the purple doors of the locked maternity unit, room 3500.Wear comfortable clothing that you can move around in and bring a water bottleWORKSHOP # 3: BREASTFEEDING (Taught by a Lactation Consultant)· The anatomy of the human breast and breast changes that occur during pregnancy that are important for breastfeeding· Understand the benefits of exclusive breastfeeding· Know how to set yourself up for an abundant milk supply, and learn the technique of hand expression . This series includes access to a colostrum collection kit to start collecting drops of colostrum at the end of your pregnancy· Understand baby's cues for feeding, and identify how to tell if your baby is getting enough milk· Troubleshoot and identify potential breastfeeding concerns· Know when to seek help and where to get it
