What is Guava Girls?
A girl empowerment series for ages 14-17. This is for girls who want to grow, create, make new connections, and learn more about a mindful approach to life. We will practice yoga + meditation, get our hands messy crafting, have lots of laughs, and so much more!
Rose has many different types of experiences working with children. She went to Langara College for Early Childhood education but decided it wasn’t the right fit...she wanted to teach her own curriculum! Since then she’s nannied, subbed preschool classes, taught kids yoga and cooking classes, opened + managed ivivva (by lululemon) where she led anti-bullying workshops, plus she coordinates a youth summer camp program, which she’s been leading for the last 15 years. She has also curated and taught many vision + goal workshops and creative art classes. One mom has even described her as “the child whisper”, probably because her energy makes kids feel calm and understood. She has even had letters written to her (by children) explaining how kind and trustworthy she is. Kids have a weird way of opening up around her! Rose’s accepting personality offers a safe and fun environment for girls to share and express themselves fully.
This group will meet weekly for 10 weeks - Tuesday nights from 4:30-6pm at True Nosh Wellness Center on Ontario and 6th.
If you change your mind and decide this workshop isn’t the best fit, then you have until Sept 16th to get a full refund. I will provide a full refund if I can’t fill the course with at least 6 girls by Sept 16th.
