Hello Vancouver Sept 20, 2017

Hello Vancouver! September 20, 2017

***UPDATE 9/6: A portion of proceeds from ticket sales for this show will be donated to support efforts for Eagle Creek fire evacuees and first responders. If a miracle happens in the 2 weeks between now and the show and all those needs are met, then those funds will go to recovery and restoration efforts, which will be ongoing and massive. There's not a lot to laugh about right this second, but we need to get together and celebrate community. ***

Join us for our September show with incredible guests and new surprises! On September 20, 2017, Hello Vancouver! will be in the event rooms at Warehouse ‘23, Vancouver’s hottest event space! You’ll have a great view from any seat, with our live broadcast of the show on the large screen!

Check Out These Guests!

Jeff Attinella, Goalie for the Portland Timbers and Author with It Had to Be Told Publishing

Loyal Timbers fans may know Jeff Attinella as a goalie with our favorite soccer team ever! As if that weren’t enough, he has also authored four children’s books that bring together his love for sports and his love for his family. After the birth of his daughter Remy, Jeff wanted to connect with her in a way that shared his love for sports while also bringing them closer together. Four books later, he’s got a hit on his hands. We will talk about his career and his four books: Cleveland Wins a Championship; Greatest Ever; The Curse Ends; and The Great Space Race.

Says Jeff: “Reading together provides a way for parents and their children to share in special moments, but I want these stories to do even more. I want to reach the kids like me, the ones more likely to grab a ball than a book. It is so important for a growing mind to fall in love with reading and I hope these stories can bridge a love for sports with a newfound passion for reading.”
Jeff’s books will be available for sales and signings in the lobby.

Alan Hamilton, Clark County Food Bank

Clark County Food Bank is a regional food bank that distributes 6 million pounds of food and 5 million meals a year. They partner with 34 local agencies and programs to serve the food insecure in our community. With 65,000 hungry individuals in Clark County, the need is great, and the food bank makes a real difference. We will talk with Alan Hamilton, Executive Director, about the variety of programs the food bank offers, who they serve and how, and what’s coming up.

Amber Sweeney

We can’t get enough of Amber Sweeney! Her soulful rock fits this place perfectly, and she’s poised to break out leave us saying “we knew her when!”

"Soulful and bluesy, wavering between warm and gritty at just the right times, Amber Sweeney is an artist in full control of her voice and songwriting." ~London Tone Music
