This three-hour, in-person workshop is designed to provide a gentle, supportive space for adults to reflect, connect, and begin to make sense of their grief—especially in light of the holiday season. Facilitated by Registered Clinical Counsellor , this workshop is intended to:Normalize grief and reduce the stigma that often surrounds itReduce feelings of isolation through shared stories and connectionIncrease understanding of your own experience and how others grieveReconnect you with cultural or community-based practices of grievingOffer an art activity and mindfulness skill that you can take with you into your everyday lifeWhat to Expect: You’ll be guided through reflective conversations and shared learning around:Exploring grief and loss and its impactsUnderstanding grief and its many symptomsRecognizing how grief affects the mind and bodyNaming common existential challenges that can emerge after lossHonouring cultural and communal grief practicesYou will also be introduced to:A creative art activity (no experience required)A simple mindfulness skill to support daily grounding and emotional regulationAll art materials and handouts are provided.While this workshop is therapeutic in nature, it is not a substitute for individual therapy.
