Join us for a West End Community BBQ in the Plaza! 🍔
Come together with your neighbors for an evening of delicious food, fun, and friendly faces at our ‘GBQ’, Gordon Neighbourhood House’s summer barbeque! We’re firing up the grill and setting a 30 metre long table for 100 guests. Enjoy meat OR veggie burger, potato salad, popcorn, and ice-cold lemonade. After dinner we’ll have dessert, board games, live music, and dancing. It’s the perfect opportunity to meet neighbours, catch up with old friends, and strengthen our community bonds.

Each ticket comes with a full meal and saves you a seat at the table. Little ones who’ll be sitting on a parent’s lap don’t need a ticket. If children will be eating and need their own seat, please make sure to purchase a ticket for them.
Accessibility Details: This event will take place in the mini park in front of Gordon Neighbourhood House (GNH), located in the centre of the West End at 1019 Broughton Street-The West End is served by the Robson #6 and Davie #5 bus routes. The closest bus stop is located 290 metres (3.5 blocks) from the event location-GNH is an accessible building, and can accommodate all mobility devices-Service/support animals are welcome, however please leave your other pets at home-Gender neutral and single-stall bathrooms will be available
