His background in custom picture framing and fine art consulting adds a deeper understanding of how photographs are seen, presented, and experienced.Not only do we dedicate the time to making photographs, during the walk we examine how light and shadow shape an image, how composition and geometry influence perception, and how colour or black and white can evoke emotions. We will explore Gastown, Water Front Station, Granville Street, and Yaletown.This is a small group experience. This is where our work begins. We slow down, observe carefully, and photograph with purpose. We will spend time in differnt areas, while we discuss how light and shadow define a scene, how composition and timing shape the image, and how to recognize moments worth capturing as they happen.Part Two:The Print Reveal & Discussion***Sunday April 12 at 2pm***Each participant will select one photograph from the walk and submit their digital file within 24 hours to be printed.Your image will be professionally printed using archival methods by Legere Fine Art Services.We will reconvene on Sunday April 12th for a group print reveal at a central local licensed establishment (Main Street & Broadway).
