The city is about 100 kms from the front lines. The ugly reality of war is a daily occurence for them. We have supported the family with two benefits as well as sending our own money from time to time. We exchange emails with Julia regularly.John and his wife Pam Searle perform as the folk/roots duo, "Hermosa Star". We have organized this latest evening of music at a small event space in South Vancouver, seating capacity is 35.Tickets are $25 with the proceeds going to Julia and family to help them get through the winter.
