This annual event seeks to create a welcoming space for nursing and allied health professionals to gather as a community and delve into topics relevant to our practice over a shared meal. Students enrolled in nursing and allied health programs are also welcome to attend!This year, our event is titled “Drivers of Change: Champions of Care in Nursing and Allied Health.” We will spotlight the impactful work nursing and allied health professionals around the world are doing to transform healthcare delivery in their own local context. Look forward to a global panel of nursing and allied health professionals speaking on:· Women’s reproductive health including endometriosis and menopause in Canada· Pediatric palliative care in Nepal· Indigenous nutrition and food insecurity on the North Island· Health equity among Maya Indigenous peoples in Guatemala· Chronic pain management through movement in Vancouver’s Downtown EastsideWe would love to have you join us in-person for an evening of learning and reflection over a delicious meal prepared by Tayybeh.
