She currently lives in Montreal with her family. Mara Alvarez is a writer, audiovisual producer, and cultural programmer who lives in Vancouver. Her work explores themes of migrant identity, land, and gender violence through poetry, photography, and moving images. Romero Salespuente is a phycology researcher, scientific diver, writer, filmmaker, and businessman. His work combines the ecological study of macroalgae with the development of sustainable bioproducts in Haida Gwaii, B.C. Yahir Aguilar is a poet, bookseller, and cultural promoter from Mexico City who lives in Vancouver.
