Presentation Profile:
Metro Vancouver (MV) provides essential services, including managing the region’s solid waste for over 3.1 million residents in the lower mainland. Facilities include recycling/waste centres, a waste-to-energy facility, and a landfill. This presentation will outline the sources, destination and solid waste management principles for the MV system. The presentation will also give an overview of current capital projects underway and upcoming by the MV Solid Waste Services Dept.
