Location: Providence Academy Ballroom (west end of the Academy building), 400 E Evergreen Blvd, Vancouver, WA 98660. Parking is available in the Academy’s east parking lot. After 5 PM, all spots marked Visitor or Reserved are available to all so please feel free to park in those spots. Do not use the gravel lot on the north side of the Academy. Shasti also serves as a Democratic National Committee Vice Chair, where she is helping build a stronger Democratic Party. Adopted from Calcutta by a single mom and raised in rural Oregon, Shasti is also the first South Asian woman to lead a state party organization anywhere in the country and the first AAPI Chair in the contiguous 48 states. In her first term as State Party Chair, Shasti oversaw Democratic victories that included every single statewide office, every Congressional incumbent seat, increased margins in the state legislature, and WA as the only state to go more blue in the entire country.
