Are you a federal employee or contractor who's searching for a way to give back to the local community while building community of our own? Come get your hands dirty for a fun day of beautifying the garden plot, cleaning up trash, weeding and planting at 1802 NE Minnehaha Street.
This is a multi-year project to convert a Bonneville Power Administration transmission right-of-way into a community garden. The project kicked off last year in celebration of Pollinator Week.
All federal employees in the Portland/Vancouver area and friends and family who identify with the mission of volunteering in the community and sustainability are welcome.
No experience necessary – just bring your enthusiasm and a pair of gardening gloves. We’ll be there rain or shine. Let's grow together!
Tickets for Building a right-of-way community garden in Vancouver can be booked here.
