With heavier rain, falling leaves and other debris of city life, clogged catch basins can lead to flooded streets and trash washing into adjacent waterways.

Help keep our streets safe and catch basins clear - join us at Jim Deva Plaza to learn more about the sewer system, clear some catch basins, and make new friends. Your neighbours and the catch basins will thank you!

Bring warm, comfortable clothing. Catch basin clearing equipment and light refreshments will be provided.

Adopt a Catch Basin is a program run by the City of Vancouver, providing support and equipment to help residents keep their catch basins clear to prevent street flooding.
