Winter Tree ID Hike at Meadowbrook

You might be able to tell an oak leaf from a maple, but how do you identify a tree without its leaves? Without leaves, you might think all trees look the same. With a bit of knowledge, you can learn how to spot a black oak from a silver maple just by looking at their buds, bark, and branching.

Join us for a hike to learn the basics of tree identification and how to apply these skills in the middle of winter—and any time of year! We will meet at the Meadowbrook Pavilion.
