Join us for a beginner-friendly workshop where you’ll learn how to make a beautiful handmade journal from start to finish. We’ll create simple hand-sewn “signatures” (little booklets that will be hand sewn--but don’t worry, I don’t sew either!) You will then design a custom cover using upcycled materials plus fabric to craft a unique spine that ties it all together. No sewing experience needed!

All materials are provided. (Awls for bookbinding are welcome—extras will be available.) You’re also welcome to bring 2–3 sheets of your favorite 12x12 decorative papers and a coordinating fabric if you’d like to personalize your cover.

Come in comfy clothes, enjoy a relaxing creative experience, and leave with a finished journal—and the skills to make many more!
