- **Event Description**: This one day childbirth education class will leave parents feeling educated about options in birth, empowered in their ability to make decisions, and  confident in their birthing goals. 

Some of the topics covered:
The last trimester of pregnancy
Preparing for birth mentally and physically
Comfort measures for labor and birth
Physiology of labor, birth, and postpartum
Advocating for your birth wishes

Breastfeeding and newborn care WILL NOT be covered in this class. 

This class is taught by Megan Scott of Stronger Together Birth Collaborative

Participants are encouraged to bring lunch or plan a quick trip to pick something up for a working lunch. Several small breaks will be planned so feel free to bring snacks and drinks. Water, coffee/tea, and a refrigerator and microwave are available. 

Cost is $175. Class will be limited so a $50 deposit will be due at time of registration to hold your spot. Balance due the day of class. Register for classes by calling 850-696-0363.
