2nd Annual Chili Cook-Off
February 28, 2026
Doors open at Noon
Chili will be turned in for judging at 4pm
Awards announced at approximately 5pm
We have a local celebrity stacked judging pool this year! The Valley Park Mayor and Fire Chief have graciously agreed to help. In addition, our People's Choice Winner from last year (The GOAT), will be the 3rd judge.
Eligibility & Entry
• Open to club members and the general public
• Individual entries only (no teams)
• $25 non-refundable entry fee
• Registration accepted up to and including event day
• Maximum of 25 entries
• All entry fees paid out as cash prizes
Chili Preparation
• Prepared off-site
• Brought in a crock pot or approved container
• Minimum of one gallon
• Safe and sanitary food handling required
Ingredients & Disclosure
• Any chili style permitted
• Only store-bought meat allowed
• No illegal or controlled substances
• Contestants provide their own toppings
Judging & Awards
• Blind judging with random numbers
• Criteria: Appearance, Aroma, Flavor, Texture, Uniqueness
• Judges’ decisions are final
• 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Awards
• People’s Choice Award
