Join us the second and fourth Fridays of the month for a mini trial day of forest school at Earthsong Explorers. Families will:
*Get a mini tour of our grounds at Hart Square Village (a nonprofit with 200 acres of stunning land, trails, lakes, and the nation's largest collection of historic log cabins)
*Meet the forest school co-founders and Head Guide
*Get all your questions answered
*Learn more about our ethos
*Have a chance to "try out" forest school before committing to enrollment
*Experience free play at Earthsong's "base camp," which includes mud kitchen, zipline, swings, forts, and creek
These trial days will be held from 12 PM to 2 PM. They will require a ten-minute hike into and out of base camp, so please pack anything you may need (diapers, water, snack, etc.). There are restrooms at the Education Center near the parking lot and a compost toilet at base camp. The trail is fairly stroller-friendly - it's not paved but we've seen many strollers and wagons make the journey.
The cost is $20 per family. Please purchase your ticket at least 24 hours in advance so we can plan for your arrival. If you would like to join us last-minute, please email Jamie at
