In the Russian River Valley, the day begins in silence.
Fog drifts inland from the Pacific, wrapping the vines in a cool, silver hush. By mid-morning, the sun breaks through. By afternoon, warmth coaxes ripeness from thin-skinned Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. By evening, the temperature drops again, locking in acidity, tension, and grace.
This seminar is not just about wine. It is about place. It is about how three producers listen to the same landscape, and answer differently.
Innumero Wines: At Innumero Wines, we believe that extraordinary experiences are born at the intersection of people, place, and passion. Every bottle we craft is a reflection of this philosophy, a celebration of connection, terroir, and time.
Our wines begin in the most revered vineyards of Sonoma County, tended by growers whose hands have shaped the land for generations. These sites are chosen not just for their pedigree, but for their soul, the quiet magic that lives in the soil and is expressed through the vines.
With a commitment to small production and minimal intervention, we allow nature to speak for itself. Each single-vineyard, single-clone wine is a pure expression of its origin, capturing the nuance of each vintage and varietal. We don’t manipulate; we listen. We don’t rush; we respect.
The result is a portfolio of wines that invite you into a deeper experience, one that lingers on the palate and lives in memory.
Stressed Vines: Stressed Vines Cellars is a heartfelt homage to our founder Rob Barney's passion for wines that tell a story of resilience and character, emerging from vines that have weathered more challenges than the average vineyard. We are sourcing fruit from small, distinctively stressed vineyards throughout Napa and Sonoma counties that are devoted to old vines, dry-farmed vines, and high elevation vineyards, each contributing unique qualities to our meticulously crafted collection of wines.
Moshin Vineyards: Founded in 1989 by former San Jose State University math instructor Rick Moshin, Moshin Vineyards is a family-owned winery built through perseverance, winemaker - tended vineyards, and a deep commitment to terroir-driven winemaking in the Russian River Valley. Thirty seven years later, the winery remains a true family endeavor, with Rick, his wife Amber, and sister Janet actively involved, offering guests a warm, friendly experience and a diverse portfolio of expressive, site-driven wines.
As you taste through each wine, notice not just flavor, but feeling. Where is the energy?Where is the structure? Where does the wine carry you?
The Russian River Valley is not loud. It does not overpower. It unfolds.
This seminar invites you to slow down, lean in, and experience how three distinctive voices interpret one of California’s most nuanced landscapes, glass by glass.
