RISEN, THAT WE ALSO MIGHT BE RISEN
KJV Bible. 2 Corinthians 4:14
[14]Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
The basis of faith in Christ Jesus is the fact that he rose from the death, overcame (still overcoymes) the grave, and reigns in glory...
Otherwise this FACT, the whole thing would have been an empty story, just another poem without any correlating benefits, making it unnecessary and needless for man! But Man has since the event, in all generations, engaged faith in the FACT because it is ultimately the TRUTH, and has been found beneficial...
The benefits:He did not only die for us, He also was risen for us, and reigns for us in glory.
And the Spirit in the above Scripture says:
the same covenant / ordinance / commitment / faithfulness /Power / Personality / energy, is to RAISE UP US ALSO by the same Jesus who was risen.
He was risen that we also might be risen!!
Think about his death:
In an attempt to make his resurrection impossible, they ruptured his heart; covered his tomp with an unusually great stone, even the King's seal was put on his grave for security purpose, and live warriors (specially trained) were put on guard at the grave yard - Matthew 27 & 29). Yet He rose from the death on the exact prescribed time! Without a second's delay!!
Now think about you: do you seem to be hindered in any way? Is there any gang-up or conspiracy against your rising?
Remember always that the Glory of His resurrection is for us!
"He which raised up the Lord Jesus, shall raise up us also..." We also will rise by Jesus, not only that, we will also ascend; that means to fly above!!
Irrespective of how dilapidated your case seems, the resurrection glory is coming upon it even now... and as Jesus said to Lazarus' Sister, "if you believe, you shall see His glory"
Happy Easter should not just be a compliment
