We’re pretty sure.

This is a bike race that is anything but regular. First off, it’s in February. In New England. It’s run by the Urban Assault Build Crew, which means pretty much anything can—and probably will—happen.

Weather will absolutely dictate how this event runs. Start times, course length, and categories may change on race day, because we are not wizards and definitely not Nostradamus.

This is an 18+ event.
Food vendors, Industry Vendors, beer garden, and other adult beverages and paraphernalia will be on site. Find a sitter and cut loose.

Every registration includes:

A food ticket
An event t-shirt
So quit yer bitchin’ about the price. We’re building a world-class event here.

The course & timing (aka: how this actually works)

Open loop: 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM
This is your chance to pre-ride, scope lines, or course-walk and pretend you’re “studying conditions.”

Racing starts: 12:00 noon
Yes, for everyone.

Start times and final format will be confirmed day-of, because we won’t know what Mother Nature cooked up until about five minutes before we’re supposed to start.

The course is lap-based, roughly 1.5–2 miles per lap, depending on conditions and how mean we’re feeling.

Timing is handled by Eleven11 Timing, using plate-mounted chips. Once you get your plate, stay the hell away from the start line until your race.

Features, obstacles & questionable decisions

The course will include built structures, obstacles, and drops, all with time-consequential go-arounds.

Translation:

“You gotta go around it if you don’t wanna send it.”

No one is forced to ride any feature.
If you’re fast, you won’t need them.
If you’re not fast but you’re sendy—well… there’s your edge.

Capeche?

The course will be clearly marked with arrows and tape. It is the racer’s responsibility to know the route. Open loop starts at 10:00 AM for riding or walking the course.

Please do not stand on features at any time—especially during open loop or racing. We like you, and we’d like to keep it that way.

Each category awards 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
This is old-school racing: no swag, all brag. Run what ya brung.

We’re here for the course, the chaos, and bringing genuinely interesting racing back to New England. Show up with a good attitude and battle it out with a bunch of like-minded bike weirdos.

Costumes and ridiculous headwear are encouraged.

Bring your own spectators.

Team tents, parking & general “don’t be an idiot” info

Team tents welcome in the designated Get Ready Area (parking lot)
Plenty of parking on site
10x10 tents allowed—must be weighted or staked
Dogs must be leashed
People must be fully clothed at all times (not our rule- just go with it)
Registration opens at 9:00 AM
Not 8:59 Seriously. No.
Waivers required
Anyone under 18 must have a parent/guardian signature
Porta-johns will be on site—use them
Helmets are mandatory for anyone pedaling a bike
          Racing or not. Yes, this means you. Don’t be that person
