- **Event Description**: This New Moon rises in the watery sign of Cancer, a sign that piques our intuition, deep emotion, family commitment, one’s sense of personal space and security, and much more. Perhaps you feel like you’re riding the ebb and flow of the ever-changing tides of life. Personal buoyancy is key to keeping us afloat when life gets choppy. Sometimes it’s hard to trust that we won’t actually sink. The Cancer Moon gives us the cue that we can trust ourselves - and to know we are able to defy gravity when we need to.

When I took swimming lessons as a young child, I was certain that I’d sink if I tried to float on my back. My teacher assured me otherwise, but that did little to quell my young fear. At my side in the water, she kept a hand on me for reassurance, but as soon as she took it away, I’d flail. Then, she kept me afloat by holding the ruffle on my bathing suit between her fingers, assuring me I was secure. She told me to relax and close my eyes. When I opened them, I was floating perfectly, and she had removed her hands without my notice. In that moment, I learned something about fear and trust that I still remind myself of today.

Trust yourself for this NEW MOON Soundscape 'float', led by the restorative oscillations of resonant bowls, chimes, and bells, mingling amicably with interludes of refreshing water, ocean, and rain inspired audibles, to rush over you, and cleanse your mind, body, and spirit.

To continue your cleansing experience, participants will be given a bottle of MOON BRINE water, made as a gift for this night, to add to bath water or a foot soak - more will be shared with you then.  And of course, we will close the evening with a consult with the Oracle cards to see what this next astrological house has in store for you.

Please bring a yoga mat, pillow, blanket, eye mask, booster, water, and/or any other items to ensure optimal comfort. Armed chairs are also available for those that prefer to be seated.
