Tom the vet, more concerned about the cat up the tree than anybody else, and Annie who is tired of looking after mother and endlessly waiting for Tom to further their relationship! Lastly, there's Ruth, a down-to-earth career woman, and her husband Norman...best described as a magnet for women he is a nightmare to all assembled.
