She’s always noticing litter everywhere we go and during her sisters’ field hockey games, you can usually find her under and around the bleachers picking up the trash other people leave behind. She decided she wanted to do something bigger to help keep our town clean — and we want to support that sweet little passion of hers! 

Our first cleanup will be Saturday, October 17th from 11:00–12:00! We’ll meet at Taft ELC and spend the hour walking the surrounding sidewalks and fields picking up litter.

🧤 All you need is a pair of rubber gloves, a trash bag, and a smile! You can also grab a FREE cleanup kit from Keep Massachusetts Beautiful, just like Kaia did!

📸 Can’t join us at Taft? Clean up somewhere else around town! Post pictures of your cleanup in this group so we can share them and show Kaia just how many people joined her mission.

We’d also LOVE for our local small businesses and community members to support Kaia’s Clean-Up Crew with a donation. Donations can be sent to my Venmo (@Deanna-Hankey). I’ll collect all donations and make one lump-sum donation to Keep Massachusetts Beautiful after the event. We’ll share the final amount raised with everyone here💚

This is our first cleanup, but we’re hoping it’s just the beginning!
