SHADOW WORK: Beyond the Dark Curtain
What situations in your past have laid the foundation of who you are today? Can failure be a positive? What helped you form who you are today? These and many other questions will be delved into as we do our shadow work.
This class is designed to help you navigate through the events of your life that have brought you to where you are today, as well as shape you into who you really want to be going forward. Each class is different with similar common elements…building onto your toolbox one class to the next.
In class we will use various books and activities to help with your journey,
Class will cover:
Discuss what Shadow Work is and how it is different for everyone
Discuss gratitude journaling and how it helps the healing process
Participate in a guided meditation each session to get us going
Do lessons/activities/discussions based off of various books and themes
Discuss ways to change our reactions through 'Let Them' by Mel Robbins and other books
Do a Shadow Work writing prompt
Do a gratitude exercise
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
This is an ongoing class that will meet on three evenings 6-8 PM. The dates are:
Tuesday April 7th, April 21st and May 5th 2026.
The cost is $115 for the series; (less than $40 per class).
Material costs of $30 are separate and will be paid directly to the instructor via cash or Venmo on the first night.
This price includes the binder and essential handouts for the course all organized between labeled tabs. As we go along with the course, new pages will be added. The price of the additional pages will be minimal to nothing depending on how many pages are being added.
Participants should bring writing utensils and two different color highlighters…along with a totally open mind.
Each class is 2 to 2 ½ hours long. We are limiting participation to ten. You must be over 18 years old to participate: no exceptions please.
Our instructor is Kay, a psychic reader and teacher at A Touch of Magick. She has a background in education, spending 45 years in public school classrooms. She has a master’s degree in special education and a strong background in psychology as an undergrad. She has used writing and journaling for most of her life to do Shadow Work even before she knew it was called “Shadow Work.”
