This Full Moon gathering takes place under the subtle influence of a lunar eclipse in Pisces — a moment traditionally associated with release, insight, and deep listening. Eclipse periods often illuminate what has been quietly unfolding beneath the surface, inviting us to soften control, trust intuition, and allow what no longer serves to gently dissolve.

In this immersion, you will be guided to experience different drum rhythms and observe how your body and mind respond to them. Through sound meditation with the frame drum, we will explore a range of rhythmic qualities: primal, steady, grounding, holding, transformative, journeying, and spacious.

As you rest within the vibration of the drum, you may begin to notice how your own inner rhythms move — where there is flow, where there is resistance, and where something may be ready to shift. The practice offers an opportunity to reflect on how you might realign your personal rhythm and return to a greater sense of balance and presence.

Lichun will also introduce reflective tools she uses in her sound therapy work with individuals, helping participants explore themes of resonance and resistance while deepening self-awareness. Throughout the immersion, you may be invited to gently inquire:
How am I feeling? How am I responding? Am I over-trying? Am I overdoing?

The evening begins with a short reflective exercise to explore something in your life that currently holds tension, resistance, or unresolved energy. Lichun works with a concept she calls “Construct” — the collection of thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations that gather around experiences that challenge or block our natural flow.

This might be something that feels stuck physically, emotionally, or mentally. You will carry this “construct” gently into the meditation, allowing the drum rhythms and sound to support movement in awareness and perspective.

This kind of practice can deepen self-understanding and support emotional integration. At the same time, there is something deeply restorative about simply resting within the ancient, steady pulse of the drum — allowing the body to soften, the mind to quiet, and the heart to open to subtle healing.
