Mad Cow Comedy hosts an afternoon of stand-up comedy performed by various international acts, all performing in English.
🎤 Utrecht-based comedian, Rachel Morton-Young, introduces a different mix of comedians every 2 weeks, so no two shows are ever the same.
Kartoffel:
Our show now takes place in the Biergarten at Kartoffel, a German-themed restaurant along the historic Oudegracht (only a 10 minutes walk from Utrecht Central Station). The venue has great, affordable food, so considering coming early for lunch, or staying for a bite after the show.

Rich Grosso
Rich Grosso is a US stand-up comedian and actor known for sharp, story-driven comedy about family, aging, and life’s bad decisions. He’s performed at major comedy clubs across the US and appeared in hit TV shows including Young Sheldon, Euphoria and Shameless.
Diva Edell
Diva Edell is a gloriously filter-free comic whose raw, relatable storytelling turns life’s chaos into big laughs. Since bursting onto the scene in 2022, she’s been tearing up stages across the US, delivering comedy that’s honest, fearless, and packed with “oh my god, same” moments.
Giselle Wang
Originally from China and now based in Rotterdam, Giselle Wang delivers ruthless punchlines and unfiltered culture shocks. Her sharp, fearless comedy cuts straight to the bone — the kind that makes audiences laugh first and process later.
Sooz Kempner
Sooz Kempner is an award-winning comedian, singer, writer and actor, best known for her hit musical comedy shows and sell-out Edinburgh Fringe runs. A brilliant joke writer with a musical twist, she blends sharp stand-up with songs and pop-culture brilliance.
