The celebration will be held on September 20 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Oneida County History Center, located at 1608 Genesee Street, Utica.This event is a great opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the rich contributions of Latino culture. The celebration will feature special guest Daina Gonzalez, a talented children's author dedicated to creating inspiring narratives for young readers. A devoted mother of three and grandmother of ten, her stories encapsulate themes of life, family, and the wonders of nature. Outside of her writing, she enjoys hiking, RVing, and exploring.This program is free and open to all. Bring your family and friends. Light refreshments will be served. It will take place in the History Center's main gallery.
