Bring the family for a creative day at Munson! Enjoy hands-on art activities designed by 2025–26 Artist-in-Residence Quincey Spagnoletti and our Museum Education team. Then stick around for a lively performance from BAM Percussion: The Blue Barrel Show! ?

? Create with us and then enjoy a visit from the Utica Zoo ZooMobile from noon-2 p.m.!

This vibrant performance ignites the stage with powerful rhythms and side-splitting sketches that leave audiences in stitches. The eccentric BAM characters, seemingly plucked straight from a zany cartoon, communicate in their own whimsical language, BAMspeech—a universal tongue understood by all, from toddlers to grandparents. BAM Percussion has brought joy and laughter to audiences in over 30 countries, transcending language barriers and uniting people through the universal language of rhythm and humor.
