- **Event Description**: Our annual Chinese New Year Celebration/Demo are coming next month. This year, we are doing things slightly different.  We are planning to split it up a little bit this year, due to the Saturday demo falling on Valentine’s Day. 

We will host our Awards Banquet at the school this year.  This is a first for us.  In the past, we’ve held this event at a local Chinese buffet.  Having it at the school allows us to add in the opportunity to take our school and individual photos and is a little easier on family meal budgets. 


Sunday Order of Events:

Lion Dance Performance

Potluck Lunch - We are asking every student or family to bring a dish to share)

Awards - Every student this year will get a certificate with their current sash rank

Student Demo (All students are encouraged to participate)

Individual Photos



Students, wear your full uniform (including your sash).  We will be taking our annual school photo as well as individual photos. These photos will be available at no cost!

We are in need of any tables and chairs anyone can spare.  We’d ask that you drop them off labeled with your name during any class time the week of February 8-14th.  Let us know on the Potluck sign-up sheet.

The school will provide plates, utensils, cups and napkins.
