We will welcome the Preserve into the Old-Growth Forest Network with a brief ceremony near the nature center and then walk the boardwalk loop to see the ancient cedars and hardwood trees in abundance, as well as a rare sedge meadow.Cedar Bog Nature Preserve is a remnant alkaline fen with sedge meadow, white cedar forests, and adjacent swamp hardwood forests that include cottonwoods, maples, sycamore, and linden among others.
