The Mendon, Hopedale & Upton Girl Scouts (MHUGS) invite you to our Community Clean-Out Day. Gather up your garage clutter, basement junk, old furniture, toys, small appliances, electronics, and leftover home-improvement materials—and make one trip to get rid of the mess!

This event is open to everyone and will take place rain or shine.

65 Pleasant Street, Upton, MA
Please enter the parking lot in front of the football field.

Cash and Venmo will be accepted onsite. Volunteers will direct traffic and assist with unloading as needed.

LOAD PRICING

• Small load: $20
• Trunk load: $50
• SUV/minivan: $80
• Pickup truck: $100
• Pickup truck and trailer: $150

Please secure your load for safe transportation. All vehicles will be directed by event volunteers.

ACCEPTED ITEMS

• Household junk
• Furniture
• Toys and play equipment
• Garage and basement clean-out items
• Small quantities of home-improvement materials, including scrap lumber, fence sections, deck boards, swing sets, small amounts of shingles, and similar items
• Small appliances
• Electronics—additional fees may apply

SPECIALTY-ITEM FEES

• Mattresses and box springs: $60 each
• TVs and monitors: $50 each
• Tires: $30 each
• Propane tanks: $30 each
• Appliances and window air conditioners: $30 each
• Small electronics such as printers, keyboards, lamps, and cables: FREE

ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED

• Clothing or textiles
• Paint
• Chemicals
• Hazardous waste
• Batteries
• Concrete, dirt, or rocks
• Large construction loads

Event staff reserve the right to refuse items that are oversized, excessive in quantity, or not listed as accepted. If you are unsure about an item, please contact us before arriving at girlscoutsmhugs@gmail.com.
