We are happy to invite you to a retreat with Alessandro Ortona who is living and embodying these teachings. As a science, yoga offers practical tools to explore and refine the human system. It teaches us how to untie the knots held deep within the body, to restore harmony to the breath, to calm the emotional fluctuations that cloud perception, and to quiet the restless currents of thought. Through disciplined practice, it brings balance where imbalance once ruled, health where there was dis-ease, and clarity where confusion prevailed. As an art, yoga opens a gateway to the unseen — to the subtle dimensions of existence that lie beyond reason and language. It teaches us how to listen to the silent pulse that animates all things, to align with the hidden forces that move matter and life itself. The art of yoga nurtures creativity — not only in expression, but in perception — allowing us to face the unknown with curiosity rather than fear. Yoga, Zen, and Tao are different expressions of the same quest. They are like great trees sharing a single root: the timeless inquiry into the nature of being. Who are we?
