Be an original, buy local!
Save the dates for the 2025 Sugarplum Artisan Marketplace, the most wonderful time of the year!
Hosted by the USC League for the Arts, this 6-day sale features 2 full rooms of original art, fashion, one-of-a-kind gifts, home accessories and seasonal décor.
There is something for everyone with thousands of hand-crafted pieces in every price range, and in every style, from traditional to contemporary.
First-timers will be impressed with the quality, and quantity, of locally made items. Loyal regulars, who have made this sale a success for 51 years, will return to see “what’s new” from their favorite artists.
Held in both rooms of “The MAC” on McLaughlin Run Road, the first room becomes a stylish “boutique” filled with local craftsmanship, including glass, fiber, pottery, wood, metal, paper and more. Unlike traditional arts and crafts shows, the Sugarplum Marketplace artfully combines all the juried items, including a “kid’s corner” with gifts for children made by multiple artisans.
The second room “gallery” has more art, including framed ready-to-hang original paintings, prints and photography in a variety of sizes.
Throughout both rooms, shoppers will find sustainable art, items for home and gifting that have been creatively upcycled from repurposed materials
