Are you a PGCC student interested in learning how to grow, or in need of an apprenticeship or Community Service Hours Opportunity on a farm? Do you need a farm for hands-on training? Asawana Farms has openings for hands-on beginner farmer trainees to learn and complement what they learn in the classroom. Please sign up if you are interested in volunteering and learning for the 2026 farming season.

Depending on the period that you sign up, here are some of the core skills that you will learn:

Waiver of Liability & Release: I do hereby represent that - I recognize this is a working farm & activities may include construction & farming -related physical work & understand the dangers & risks inherent in volunteering; I'm submitting this Waiver of Liability & Release declaration voluntarily & of my own free will; I will inform ECO City Farms staff of any physical or emotional problems, or any history thereof, which will impair my ability to safely volunteer for ECO City Farms & agree to abide by all rules both posted & provided by staff while engaged in volunteering; I hold harmless & agree to indemnify ECO City Farms, its officers, directors, employees, agents & volunteers from all claims, liability, & damages I may sustain from any bodily injury, personal injury or property damage which may occur from any cause, including negligence, before, during or after any activity I engage in at this site; I irrevocably grant ECO City Farms and its agents the exclusive right to publish & reproduce my name, image and likeness for any purpose including promotion, advertising or other purposes; & I acknowledge that I have read & understand this entire Waiver of Liability & Release, & I agree to be legally bound by it.
