During this fun pottery class, you and/or your child/children will learn how to create a gorgeous jungle jar that will add some cuteness to any space. The children don't need any prior experience in pottery to join this event, so don't worry if you or your kids are new to clay! We'll guide you through the entire process, ensuring that you feel confident and supported every step of the way. This class is super easy and suitable for all ages from toddlers to teens, so feel free to bring the tribe. Plenty of examples on hand for inspo, or create your favourite creature, whatever it may be. During the class, you'll learn how to mould and shape the clay, as well as various techniques for adding texture, detail, and personality to your jungle jars. Use our examples as a guide, or create a creature unique to you. Then leave the rest to Wendy from Lil Miss Potty Mouth who will glaze and fire your creations so that they will be waterproof and durable to last for many years to come. Working with clay can be a calming and therapeutic activity, allowing you to tap into your creativity and focus on the present moment. As you create your pieces, you'll find yourself immersed in the process, experiencing a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction, and deepening your parent-child bond through this fun and creative shared experience.
