- **Event Start and End Date**: Thu, 11 Dec, 2025 at 12:00 am
- **Event Description**: What is a “Helping Parent?”

A Helping Parent is a parent or guardian of a child with a disability, developmental delay, or ongoing medical need who has completed training from the Parent to Parent (P2P) Program.

Helping Parents are thoughtfully matched with families whose children have similar experiences or diagnoses. Through one-on-one emotional and informational support, they offer understanding, encouragement, and shared wisdom. At the heart of this connection is the message: "I’ve been there—I understand." This session is geared toward families with children 5-11 years old.
