"Counted Out" Film Screening & Panel Discussion

Join the College of Arts & Sciences for a free community screening of "Counted Out," a powerful new documentary to inspire everyone to engage with the mathematics and statistical world of the future.

"Counted Out" makes the case that math is more than numbers, it’s a language for reason, a foundation for truth, and a tool for civic participation. Across the country, communities are reimagining math as a shared language for building a healthier, more informed future.
After the film, stay for a panel discussion featuring local educators and leaders who will share reflections and invite audience conversation about the connections between mathematics, education, and democracy.

This event is open to all. Bring your students, colleagues, and friends for an evening of thoughtful discussion, community, and POPCORN!
