The Michigan Tech Mind Trekkers and Delta College invite you to the 6th Annual 2017 Dow Great Lakes Bay STEM Festival!  Mind Trekkers brings the 'WOW' of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics to students through hands-on, engaging activities.

Delta College has hosted this event since 2013.  This year will have all the same fun, engaging, educational opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math with the addition of the Arts and how they connect to STEM.
What is a STEM Festival?

Excite students about STEM education and show them the possibilities and opportunities an education in STEM will bring them.

OVER 100 hands‐on “WOW” activities in a wide range of STEM fields!

Explore after/before school STEM related activities (keep their excitement level up)

Explore post‐secondary opportunities (what do they do next?)

Explore STEM‐related career opportunities in Michigan.

Meet with STEM professionals to answer student questions in a relaxed and fun environment.

Explore how the Arts relate to STEM fields. As our recent Delta College guest, Astronaut Andrew J. Feustel, expressed, being a well-rounded individual with a background in the Arts as well as STEM is key to collaborating in a global society.
